Physical Education

The focus of the P.E. program for Prep and Grade 1 is to develop basic motor skills through a variety of activities. They have been introduced to games with simple rules and have used different equipment to practise their catching and throwing. There has been an emphasis on participating and playing safely.

Grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6

Many sporting events are organised including Cross Country skills. Skills used in major games such as throwing, batting and catching will be dealt with. Major games to be covered this term include Netball, Soccer and T-Ball. Tactics, moving around the playing field and playing as a team member are included in lessons.  Lunchtime Cross Country practise this term will be held on the school oval.  Extra House Points can be earned at practise.
